This is, of course, a total oxymoron, unless you think scholar means someone who just reads and interprets existing texts and keeps to process going on.
Pat Condell has fun with the notion.

I hope this fight does not start here in Canada. I think my local mosque is a nice bit of architecture, but I have no wish for Islam to play much of a role here.
