What? pronunciation stupidities

The ESPN broadcasters are now starting to say "Kuz-net-SOH-va". What is going on? Will Russian names simple have to conform to some silly NBC notion of how they should be pronounced?
UPDATE: It is truly bizarre. Patrick McEnroe keeps changing the pronunciation of Kuznetsova. Does ESPN lack staff to tell people about the players' names?.
UPDATE: Within 30 seconds Pam Shriver pronounces Kuznetsova iwht emphasis on different syllables? What is wrong with these people?
