The Transition - Progress is Approaching

Up here in the north, is very exciting when winter begins to release its hold on all of us; and it has been a long and tough winter here again (after having been spoiled by years of mild winters).
On the weekend I had occasion to drive on the back roads between Kitchener and London, Ontario, and it was a delight to see the fields starting to shade green (curiously a lot more so near London - not sure why). During the weekend we saw robins and red-wing blackbirds, though not as many as we will see in a couple more weeks.
Thank you, spring, for giving us a hint of what is to come!
